personal summary-Climbing the world’s highest mountains

The article “Climbing the world’s highest mountains” by Henry Billings and Melissa Billings. It relates the hardships and dangers of climbing the world’s highest mountains. The thin air is a serious problem of climbing high mountains that makes you to feel the lack of oxygen,and find getting dizzy. Temperatures often bring difficulties to climbers. At the same time, blizzards afflict climbers frequently. Avalanche is a fearful problem in climbing process. Winds also pose a threat. They may whip past at 100 miles per hour, and blow you to your death. Another one serious problem that climbers often face is crevasse. In addition, snow blindness is an awful problem that climbers can be blind by it. If climbers run out of energy, they might collapse in the snow and wait for death to come. To sum up, climbing highest mountain is a fearful sport which teems with a lot of terrible risks.
